Priceline Haul - 40% Sale
Everything I got at the Priceline 40% off Sale a few weeks ago.
Individual pictures to come.
I'll start with the Nude by Nature products.
I bought:
The Professional Brush Kit
Mineral Cover in Light/Medium
On the Go Brush
The Professional Brush set was originally $29, I paid $17.40
It's an 8 Piece Set - It comes with 6 brushes, a sharpener and a case.
It includes:
Kabuki Brush
Defining Blush/Powder Brush
Deluxe Eye Shader
Domed Eye Blending Brush
Concealer Brush
Dual Headed Eye Definer and Lip Brush
Precision Sharpener
I've had Nude by Nature products for a while and they work great!
I have a smaller version of the Mineral Cover in Light, but it's a little too light

SO I got the Bigger version in Light/Medium, which is just right!
This is the 15g tub.
Originally $40, I paid $24

I bought this 'On the Go' brush because my friend told me too! Literally.
I was unsure if I wanted to get it or not, but he was like 'you want it' so I said 'okay', and I bought it.
Originally $20, I paid $11.
It's small, super cute and a lot more convenient than putting a tub of powder in your handbag and hoping it doesn't spill. It comes with a scoop to put the powder in and it unscrews at the bottom to open the container to put it in. Then you just twist the middle and the brush comes up, and replace the cap when you've finished using it.

Well, that's it for the Nude by Nature portion of this. I'll be moving onto Australis now.
These are the Australis Velourlips. And as they say, they're Matte Lip Creams. So they go on wet and then dry. I love how the colours are so bold. I normally wouldn't wear red, because I'm so pale, but this actually doesn't look that bad! I bought the purple one just for the sake of having the set, but I'm not that big of a fan. Unlike with the others, the purple one can be different shades depending how much you put on one area, and even when trying to make it all just 1 shade, it didn't work. Purple isn't a colour I wear at all because of my skin tone, but for only $6 (RRP $10) I couldn't resist.
Coral = RIO-D
Purple = TOK-IO
Pink = MA-LI-BOO
Red = NY-CEE
Nude = PA-REE
Out of all, PA-REE (nude) is probably my favourite.
Overall, I really like these. Some say they work best if you apply lipbalm to your lips before you put these on. However, I see no difference. I'm not a fan of Matte lip products because I do like to have smooth lips, so I apply lipbalm afterwards, which completely defeats the purpose of having matte lip products, but I love the colours.
Just a quick swatch I'd done previously rather than doing it on my hands due to the fact that it doesn't come off easily. So on the brightside, it's got great longevity. But I needed to scrub my lips so that it hurt to get it off! Not a plus.
Next is the Australis Concealer.
I'm pretty fair, but I found that the lightest shade they had was too light for me, so my product is in medium. RRP is $10, I paid $6.
It comes in a black tube with a seethrough top, looks just like a lipstick and sometimes I have to be careful! Oops!
It works really well to cover my black eyes, because I just have them all the time even though I get a decent amount of sleep.
Now moving onto Rimmel.
These Kate Moss lipsticks are the only things in my makeup collection that I own from Rimmel.
I don't know why, I just don't own anything else.
L-R: 20, 26, 10, 05
They're creamy, go on smooth, are sort of dry once on (but not too much that it's matte)
Shade 20 - Effortless Glam
Shade 20 - Effortless Glam
Shade 10 - Red N Chic
Not sure on the names of the other shades.
20 is definitely my favourite, and the picture below doesn't do these lipsticks justice!
10 is a bright but dark shade of red.
10 is a bright but dark shade of red.
20 is a hot pink colour
5 is a medium pink colour
and 26 is a light nude (slightly darker than in the photo though)
Downfall, is that they come off really easily, which sucks due to the fact that they're $13 each.
Next up is Essence.
I really like Essence, they have great quality products for such a cheap price!
I bought an Eyeliner Pen and the Get Big Lashes mascara (waterproof)
This pen has a fine tip and it's soft, so it won't hurt your eyes. I generally apply my eyeliner to my waterline, so i'm not too sure if this is safe to use for that - but I'll figure it out eventually. I haven't gotten around to using it yet. It's pretty dark, which is okay because that's how I like my eyeliners.
I was going to get the Thick & Thin eyeliner pen, but I never wear thick eyeliner, so I didn't see the point.
Just swatches like this (couldn't get camera to focus, sorry!)
I haven't gotten around to using this mascara yet either, but I can definitely see how you would get 'big lashes' there's like 12235439583 bristles on that brush! LOVE IT! I love when lashes look so good that they look fake! No idea why, but I do. I have long lashes anyway, so this will just add the volume that I want.
I'm not the biggest fan of waterproof mascara (or eyeliner) because it generally looks pretty bad the next day. But I'll live. I didn't want this mascara, I went in looking for Triple Black, but it was sold out by the time I got to my closest Priceline store :( And I actually haven't been able to find it at any other stores, so that makes me sad. I was really wanting to try it. Maybe some day.
And last but not least: Formula 10.0.06 Face care products.
I apologize for using one of the products before making a blog post about it!
I picked these up because I had heard such great things about them.
Okay, so I've used this too. It is foamy, I'm not a fan on the foaming. I don't thin k it works well either.
It made more stuff come up on my skin instead of getting rid of it.
I'm excited to try this. I love Face Masks.
That's the end of this blog post.
Hope you enjoyed my very first post. Lots more to come!
Love Kayla
