Cherry Culture Order + Service Review | kikikaylzz | beautybykaylag

I've wanted to order from Cherry Culture for a while now, but my shipping was too expensive so I put it off repeatedly until they had their 'Free Shipping Deal' from the 9th-11th of May. I promptly placed my order.

I didn't have very high expectations of Cherry Culture due to the outstanding amount of reviews I had read and heard about regarding their customer service team & replacing of products.

I was surprised however that my order only took 2.5 weeks to arrive. Others I know have waited over a month for their orders.

All I ordered was NYX products. Due to CC being an American company, their products are half the price of Australian NYX products. I definitely took full advantage of this.

NYX has only been in Australia for about 6 months.
We don't have a massive range in Australia. Nor any of the new collections. There's also no website for us Australians therefore, no online store.

Let's get into it YO!

I bought 18 items & due to spending (way) over $20 I got a free lipbalm. I chose the Watermelon one, so 19 items total.
I only made a small order due to not checking the 'New Items' page so none of the stuff I really wanted came up.  :(

I'll start with Lip Products:

As I just said, I got a lipbalm. It's just your average balm, nothing special. Doesn't smell like watermelon to me, nor is it a very pleasant scent. 

I was honestly disappointed that it was white... I thought it would be a coloured balm. But it was free, so I'll find something to do with it.

Next up I got some Mega Shine Lipglosses.
I already own 2 of these: Beige & Perfect from the 'It List' sets. I do really like these.

I bought Golden Pink, Tea Rose & Dolly Pink.

I paid $5.50 a piece.
Total: $16.50
In Australia these glosses are $11.95 each. Totaling at: $35.85 for 3 glosses.
I saved myself: $19.35 by buying these on Cherry Culture.

I bought some Butter Glosses also.
I love Butter Glosses.

I got: Strawberry Parfait, Cupcake, Red Velvet, Devils Food Cake & Sugar Cookie.

I'm fairly sure the only one of them that you can get in Australia is Strawberry Parfait. I'm loving the names of these too! I'm also loving how true to colour they are, they're practically on point with the colour of the packaging!

I paid $5 each.
Total: $25
These retail for $9.95 each in Australia.
Total: $49.75
Savings: $25.75

In saying that though, I didn't really save a thing because majority of them you can't get here.

Last but certainly not least I bought 10 Jumbo Eye Pencils.

This is my WHOLE collection. I Could barely hold them all in my hand.

I got:

603 Pots & Pans, 608 Cottage Cheese, 615 Slate, 619 Rust, 623A Purple Velvet, 624A Rocky Mountain Green, 626 Knight, 627 Cobalt, 628 Cucumber, 629 Sparkle Green.

These were $4.50 each. 

So $45 for the lot.

Whereas in Australia, they're 9.95 each, which equates to $99.50

So I've saved myself, $54.50, that's pretty good, like you can't go past a deal that AWESOME!

As I said, they were having free shipping as well!
So I spent a total of $86.5 USD, and in AUD that's only $92.98, not even $100 for 19 items!

It's only $4.98 AUD for each item! That's seriously amazing!

If bought in Australia, this order would have cost: $185.10

185.10-92.85 = $92.25 SAVINGS!
I saved nearly $100!

Cherry Culture Service Review

I contacted them twice regarding my parcel, the first time to ask how long it generally takes to ship to Australia (which they ignored) & I asked if my order had been processed, as it had been like 5 days since I placed my order. 

The customer service person was nice, I'm unsure if I had 1 or 2 different service people. 

In the 2nd instance, it had been 12 days since I had placed my order and I still had no confirmation of shipping, so of course I was angry! I sent a message saying I wasn't happy with their service, provided my order number & the date I placed my order. 

The service person I received that time, did reply rudely to me & then stated that my order was shipped on the 14th (to which I received no conformation) and stated that I should check my emails better, so I went through & checked them again, everything and nope, NO email saying my order had been shipped! I asked, yet again how long it generally takes to ship here, and yet again, my question was ignored.

I wasn't impressed with them. Honestly, considering the reviews I had read, I didn't even think I was going to receive my order.

I received my order on about the 27th. It wasn't packaged, just wrapped in a heap of paper and rolled into a ball & placed in the box. Considering I didn't order anything big, it's not too bad but one of my items (Cucumber JEP) did arrive with the lid broken (cracked all through) so I hope that doesn't crack anymore otherwise it's useless. 

Overall: I'd say I'm happy with the service that Cherry Culture has provided. It's better than I was expecting. I'd rate it: Very Good.

It's well worth it if they've got what you're looking for!

I wish I had checked out all the pages, I could have got some really good bargains & items I wanted, but maybe I'll wait till next time when I'm not broke & they have free shipping! (please!)
