Keep scrolling to see what I got...

Okay, so when I got it, it just came in a plain old box, although I love the green leaves. I think it's cute.

 Unopened Box

Once I opened the box, I was greeted to a heap of brown paper.

Under the paper was all the stuff, not packaged very well, just everything everywhere! BUT nothing wrong with any of the items!

The first things I picked up were ELF Studio Baked Eyeshadow Palettes.
I've heard A LOT of mixed reviews about these palettes, and I wanted to try them out for myself.

Sorry for the odd angle, I was trying to show the colours properly!

ELF Studio - Baked Eyeshadow Palette in California.

SO, my initial reaction was that these colours are even more gorgeous than I thought they were from the pictures I saw on the internet. None were broken, thank god! I think I would have cried! I also noted that neither of them come with an eyeshadow applicator - not even a crappy one. Unimpressed.

I swatched this as well, you DO need to use these wet if you want more pigmentation.
On my fingers, they were beautiful and very pigmented, but after I wiped it on my arm, I had to do it a few more times to get the colours to show up best as I could.

This is a swatch of the colours dry.

And this is a swatch of them wet.
Definitely more pigmented and pretty!

Colours swatched:
TOP: 2, 3.
BOTTOM: 3, 5

Moving on to the second palette.
This one is ELF Studio Baked Eyeshadow Palette in NYC

I love these colours, they're definitely ones I would wear alot more compared to the nudes palette.
I love darker colours!

I swatched these also, and obviously the same result. Although, because these colours are darker, they come out better in the original dry swatch - but still not amazingly like they do in the wet swatch.

TOP: 1, 3
BOTTOM: 2, 6

One first touch of these palettes, the eyeshadows themselves are hard, and feel sort of grainy. Which is unpleasant, and sucks compared to other ELF palettes.

I paid $10 for each of these. I don't think they're worth $10, if I had previously had one of these, I wouldn't have spent more than $7 on each of these palettes due to their inability to deliver when dry and lack of an eyeshadow applicator - I mean, COME ON! It's an eyeshadow palette, it's got to have something!

I'd give these a 5/10 DRY
And a 8/10 WET.

Next Up: ELF FACE SHIMMER!!

Okay, so I wasn't too sure what I was going to do with these because I don't generally wear blush/bronzer etc, but I picked them up anyhow.

On first look, I wasn't too impressed. On iHerb.com the colours looked more vibrant, they're alot lighter in real life. I guess that's to be expected though.

Pink and Gold.

(PS, sorry about it not being straight on, it won't let me rotate photos at the moment)

They feel nice, not grainy like the baked palettes, but not super soft and not creamy at all (none of the products that I bought are)
I did swatch these, but they didn't come up at all. But I think they're meant to be a powder highlighter, so they're not meant to show up that much! I LOVE shimmery things, so it's not too bad. They also are very chalky! The powder was literally just falling off when I swatched it. Although, the brushes are incredibly soft, which I wasn't expecting because they don't look very soft. At first it looked like hay.... definitely not FYI.

I paid $1.99 for each of these.
I'd rate these at a 5/10.

THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE GO TO PRODUCT FOR BAGS/PUFFY EYES!

ELF Eye Refresh.
This does so much for my eyes! It makes them less puffy, reduces the blackness and then when topped with concealer, makes me look so awake, even though I'm generally sooooo tired!

They're $8 at Australian Kmarts, which is where I bought my first one. (This one is a backup!) I paid $2.99 for this one iHerb.com

This product has a roller-ball.

If you can get your hands on this somehow, DO IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I bought some nailpolish, because YOLO (Loser, right?! haha)
I noticed my local Kmart has this as well, I'm not too sure on the pricing, I think maybe $1-$2 more difference from what I paid on iHerb ($3)

One thing I noticed though, is the colours aren't exactly the same as the ones they show on the website.
The red is like a ruby red, but slightly darker.
The middle colour is like a light beige.
And the gold is more clear with speckles.

Red, Beige, Gold

They don't appear to be terrible quality, I'd put them on the same line as Ulta3 Nailpolishes.
I left the swatch on my hand a little long, because I had trouble getting the red one off.

I'd rate these at 8/10
Rating may or may not change when I actually use them on my nails.

I picked up 2 of the Beauty Books, One in Natural and the other in Smoky.
They were $4.99 each, rather than $10 on the ELF Australia website, and not sold in stores around me.

The Primer in the Smoky set was more dried up compared to the Natural set, that's why there's a texture difference.

I like how both of these books feature instructions on how to do great looking eyes for both day and night.

(Once again, apologies for not being able to rotate the photo!)
TOP: Smoky
BOTTOM: Natural

These books are ALOT bigger than I expected them to see, although I have heard alot of people say that, so I'm just another minority.
These eyeshadows are soft and silky, which is really nice. I was expecting small thumbnail size eyeshadows, LOL NOPE, they're atleast double and a bit of a thumbnail.

SMOKY:

NATURAL:

Overall, I like these palettes.
I'd rate them 9/10.

I got 1 last baked product, a baked blush in Peachy Cheeky.
Like the eyeshadows, it's grainy, doesn't feel nice and has a different pigment when dry/wet.
I paid $2.99

There isn't that much of a difference in pigmentation when dry/wet, but it's definitely there!

TOP: Wet
BOTTOM: Dry

I haven't tried it on myself yet though, just a swatch on my arm.
To me it seems more like a highlighter rather than a blush.
I'd rate it at 7.5/10

I bought a Gold mascara, why? I don't know. I just thought it was cool!
I paid $2.99 for this.

Unpackaged

I was intruged by the brush, if you can even call it a brush? I wouldn't but don't know what else to call it.
It's hard and there's no bristles. Not what I was expecting it would be, at all. But the colour payoff is really good and it comes up well on my skin.

I'd give it a rating of 8/10

MOVING ON TO MY LAST ELF PRODUCT IN THIS HAUL:

I bought a Zit Zapper.
I don't have terrible skin, but when I breakout, I breakout, it's so annoying.
I've heard mixed reviews on this product. I also noticed that the ELF Australia website, has 2 different ones available. One with a brush and the other a roller-ball (I have the roller-ball)

I haven't used this yet, but based on other reviews (most were good) it's best to use before you go to bed if you have spots, and they should be gone or less big/red in the morning. But also reapply in the morning!

Most reviews gave this atleast a 4/5.
I paid $2.99

I purchased 2 other things, that weren't beauty products.

First up is: Grandpa's Thylox Acne Treatment with Sulfur.

I bought this based on great reviews.
I'm excited to try it. My skin isn't very bad right now, I might have to wait a little before I get a chance to use it well enough to get a good review.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

I BOUGHT A CHOCOLATE BAR - OMGGGGGGG #crazy right?  NO!
I LOVE CHOCOLATE. But I didn't buy this for myself due to the fact that I HATE nuts.

I bought it for my mum because I don't have a credit/debit card, so I couldn't purchase off the website, so I used my mums card. SO I bought her chocolate in return for her kindness.
